Permanent Jewelry FAQs

Permanent Jewelry FAQ

1. What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a custom-fit chain that’s welded directly onto your wrist, ankle, or neck—without a clasp. It’s designed to be worn every day as a long-lasting, meaningful accessory.

2. Does it hurt?
Not at all! The welding process is quick and painless. We place a protective cloth between your skin and the chain, so you won’t feel a thing.

3. How long does it last?
With proper care, your permanent jewelry can last years. It's meant to be worn daily, but like any fine jewelry, it can stretch or break with excessive force or wear.

4. Can I take it off?
While it’s designed to be permanent, it can be removed by cutting the small welded jump ring with scissors. You can always come back to have it re-welded.

5. What if I need to go through airport security or get an MRI?
Permanent jewelry is TSA-friendly, so there are no issues at the airport. For medical procedures like MRIs, we recommend cutting the jewelry off beforehand—then we can reattach it for you later!

6. What materials do you use?
We offer high-quality chains in 14k gold-filled, solid gold, and sterling silver. These materials are tarnish-resistant, hypoallergenic, and safe for everyday wear.

7. What happens if it breaks?
Permanent jewelry chains are pretty sturdy but not indestructible for safety reasons. If your chain happens to break or you have to cut it off, do not worry. Simply stop the studio for a complimentary re-weld!

8. Can I get one with a friend or family member?
Absolutely! Permanent jewelry is perfect for celebrating bonds—many people get matching pieces with besties, partners, or family.

9. Do you take walk-ins, or is it by appointment?
Appointments are recommended to ensure availability, but studio walk-ins are welcome
