Policies & Safety Information

Last Updated: July 2025

At Love That Permanent Jewelry, we are committed to creating beautiful, high-quality pieces that become part of your everyday life. Please read through our policies and safety information before booking your appointment.

All Sales Are Final

Due to the custom nature of permanent jewelry, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once a piece has been cut, welded, or worn.

Lost, Broken, or Damaged Jewelry

Love That Permanent Jewelry is not responsible for lost, stretched, broken, or damaged chains after they leave our studio or pop-up location. Permanent jewelry is delicate by nature and, while designed for everyday wear, it is not indestructible.

If your chain breaks or is removed, we offer re-welds at a small fee, provided you still have the chain in good condition.

Safety Disclaimer

We take every precaution to ensure your welding experience is safe and comfortable. However, clients must understand and accept the following:

  • The welding process involves a quick electric spark. A protective cloth is used to shield your skin.

  • You must remain still during the weld to avoid injury.

  • Jewelry is only welded to itself—never to your skin.

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you understand the risks and release Love That Permanent Jewelry from liability in the rare case of accidental injury or reaction.

Who Should NOT Get Permanent Jewelry

Permanent jewelry is not recommended for:

  • Individuals with pacemakers or other implanted medical devices.

  • People with severe metal allergies or skin sensitivities.

  • Children under the age of 10 (and all minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian).

  • Those who under go frequent MRIs, scans, or surgeries requiring jewelry removal.

If you are unsure whether permanent jewelry is right for you, please consult your physician prior to booking.

Medical & Security Considerations

  • TSA and airport security: Permanent jewelry is safe to wear and does not need to be removed.

  • Medical procedures: You must cut the jewelry off prior to MRIs, surgeries, or procedures that prohibit metal. We can re-weld it for you afterward.
